Here's the view from inside the beach house - a wonderful place for us!


We had three days of beautiful sunshine in the middle of January in OREGON! What a gift!

We had a great week together (Mark joining us halfway thru after arriving back from two weeks in India with a ministry team). We spent 3 days of sunshine (in January in Oregon!) at the Beach at Lincoln City, enjoying a lovely beach house with an incredible view.
These two views were taken while Peter, Floyd, and Jonathan spent a morning climbing around on the dunes at Cape Kiwanda at Pacific City, about 20 miles north of Lincoln City.

Susan caught this special "winter moment" in her backyard after Jonathan and Eli labored to create this perfect snowman. Bend has had a very snowy winter so far - great for skiing, but a major adjustment for the folks from Southern CA! It seems they are adapting well!!

2008

We just returned from 3 days in Bend enjoying the big and little people of the Ellis family and Jonathan, who is staying with them temporarily! (Reminds me of Alan 31 years ago!)

The mountain was a bit of a challenge, mostly due to overly-cautious drivers, today. It hadn't snowed for the last two days, so the roads were cleared but with packed snow on the surface.

Anyway, we are back home, but looking forward to more family time in about 3 weeks, when our whole family will be gathering here and at a beach house at Lincoln City.........Happy 2008 to ALL!!
