Had a great time with my "boys" last weekend on Santa Rosa Island off southern California. Miles of hiking on some steep ground, sleeping under the stars, finding birds (of course) and exploring the pristine beaches and cliffs. Now Jonathan and I are back to work in Oregon, while Peter takes off for Serbia and Hungary today.

And now I'm in PA, and Peter stopped here to visit Grammie and Pop-pop on his way east. (Jen was with him - nice surprise!)
