Christmas and the 60th birthday celebration is behind us now. Peter left this morning. We had a grand weekend, spending two nights at a beach house at Lincoln City during a winter storm! Then dinner with friends, then dessert with Floyd's family. But now it's back to normal again. With days of gray skies ahead here in Oregon, winter sometimes drags on. But I just noticed that my daffodils are already 2 inches out of the wet ground! You know what? Spring is coming! Those daffodils will bloom by mid to end of February!!!! That will go a long way toward brightening the dark days.Hoping your 2007 is off to a good start!

that photo makes me happy just looking at it. I have some very good memories of beach houses along the coast with famiy in Oregon.
