Maybe it's true!

We took an R&R day yesterday, leaving at sunrise, and journeying over the Cascades and onto the edge of the high desert at Bend, OR. With my having been gone over 2 weeks, and Floyd anticipating a 3 week trip to Asia coming up this week, we wanted to take a break from "being busy", celebrate our 37 years together, and also take a peek at the progress of Mark and Susan's new house. While Floyd walked around taking pictures of the foundation, I was talking to Susan, describing what we were seeing.
They were up here in early August, before dig-out. They will probably not see it until move in, although they might come at Christmas time. We plan to try to send monthly installments to them so they can watch the progress. The weather was perfect. The view of the surrounding mountains was great.
